OMG is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of episode 4! I was cracking up laughing one minute and clutching my pearls the next. Cutting It: In the ATL” is definitely keeping me…on…my…toes!

“Turnt Up Truce” – Episode 4 (air date 6.11.15)

Episode Highlights

  • I absolutely have to start with my reality BFF, Maja. She had me cracking up out loud for most of the episode. Her dramatic valley girl infused one-liners and facial expressions are just what the doctor ordered.
  • We get another preview of Mushiya’s management style and hiring strategy for The Damn Salon. She conducts tryouts to ensure talent matches the interview – smart! Two potential new hires are in the hot seat with the task of braiding. One did great but the other – not so much. The latter is told her services will not be needed!
  • Dedra’s aunt comes to visit and they discuss the strained relationship Dedra has with her mother and how that negatively impacted her attitude through the years. Dedra and her aunt believe this might be the root cause of Dedra’s issues with building lasting friendships with women. They hit the nail on the head!
  • Lakenya believes she is ready to branch out on her own and open a salon. She meets with an advisor who lets her know that you need more than passion to be a successful business owner – great advice! Lakenya also meets with a realtor to discuss location options only to discover that she needs more time to build up the financial reserve required to take that step.
  • Maja plans a restaurant outing for the ladies so they can peacefully hash out their differences and mend fences – hopefully. HOWEVER, the evening turns out to be anything but peaceful. Check out WE tv to find out what happens next. This was definitely the biggest OMG moment of the episode – deep breath…sigh!
